Thousands of Mexicans joined protests to mark the sixth month anniversary of the kidnapping and enforced disappearance of the 43 Ayotzinapa students in the State of Guerrero. In the capital, a commission of family members and classmates of the disappeared students along with social organizations held a protest at the offices of the National Electoral Institute to demand that the July Guerrero elections be cancelled, arguing that conditions for a free, fair, and safe vote in the state do not exist.
