Enrollment In The University Of Phoenix Down By More Than Half

The University of Phoenix has less than half the degreed students enrolled now than it did in 2010; this news emerged after its parent company Apollo Education Group reported disappointing third quarter numbers.

The largest for-profit university in America has less than half the number of enrolled students it did just five years ago. 

Apollo Education Group has revealed that its subsidiary, the University of Phoenix, has approximately 213,800 degree-enrolled students which is less than half of its approximately 476,500 students from 2010. 

This news comes as the company, of which the university is a major part, recently announced its disappointing earnings for the second quarter of 2015.
