Gangaramaya Temple is one of the most important temples in Colombo, Sri Lanka, being a mix of modern architecture and cultural heritage. The temple's architecture demonstrates an eclectic mix of Sri Lankan, Thai, Indian, and Chinese architecture. Today Gangaramaya serves not only as a place of Buddhist worship; it is also a centre of learning. In the temple backyard there are 2 museums showcase a plethora of artefacts, providing information about Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage.
