NYC Mayor, Bill de Blasio, committed $28 million to help SIUH weather potential hurricanes, like it saw in 2012 with Superstorm Sandy. Combined with a $12 million commitment from NY State Governor, Andrew Cuomo, our Staten Island hospital estimates the facility upgrades will be complete by spring 2016.
