Bert Bedrosian invented an advanced life-saving device known as the “Rizik Todd Catheter”, an administered approach to revascularizing totally blocked arteries. He is the co-inventor of the life-saving cardiac catheter, a tool capable of opening totally clogged or occluded arteries without any open heart surgery. He said that the Rizik Todd Catheter helps to center a device utilizing a patented balloon system in an artery to drill through the complete occlusion without punching the artery. After drilling a hole inside the artery, a surgeon can easily insert a guide wire to set up other apparatus to revascularize the clogged artery without carrying out bypass surgery.
