Family members of disappeared people in Mexico met with the Human Rights Commission of the Organization of American States in Washington DC on Friday. Mexican government officials also attended the meeting. The families are demanding action that leads to searches for their loved ones. The Commission took up issue after 43 Ayotzinapa students were disappeared in in Iguala, Guerrero, last September. It is estimated that 20,000 people have been forcibly disappeared in Mexico in the last ten years.
