Spring showers are expected across the nation today.
We've had a few light scattered showers here in Seoul, but I hear it's raining quite heavily in the southern provinces. For more on what we can expect tonight, let’s turn to our Michelle Park at the weather center. Michelle?
Good evening. As you mentioned, Hyun-kyung, we’ve begun to get some drops here in Seoul, while it’s been pouring buckets in the southern regions. There's also a good wind blowing in some parts of the country, making it feel chillier.
We're expecting 60 millimeters of rain on Jeju and the southern coasts. Roughly 5 millimeters is expected in Seoul, while the rest of the nation can expect 10 to 30 millimeters.
The rain will clear up tonight here in the capital region, whereas the southern provinces can expect it to rain until early tomorrow morning. But hopefully the rain will clear away the dust and give us some relief from the dry weather we've been having.
After the rain, temperatures in the south will drop down into the high teens from the current twenties. Seoul will stay the same or even higher throughout the rest of the week.
Let's take a look at the readings for tomorrow.
Seoul starts off Thursday morning at [9] and gets up to [19].
Daegu and Busan will both top out at [17] degrees.
Moving over to other regions...
Jeju Island gets up to [16], Dokdo hits [12], while Mount Kumgang dips to [9] degrees.
That's all the weather for now. Have a wonderful evening.
