UN Secretary General calls on Korea, China, Japan to resolve history disputes

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who's visiting Japan,... has urged the leaders of Korea, China and Japan to resolve their disputes over history.
Secretary-General Ban made the comment during an interview with Japan's NHK.
He called on the Japanese leader in particular to have a broader, future-oriented vision toward resolving historical matters at the earliest date possible.
Pointing out that many see the 21st century being led by Asia-Pacific countries,... he said it's imperative for the three nations to keep the peace... and engage in mutual cooperation.
