Avocados are usually thought of as an all around nutritious fruit. Under normal circumstances they are, but the Cook County Sheriff's Office is sharing an unusual case in which a pallet full of frozen avocado turned out to be less wholesome.

Last week, police officials received a tip about a suspicious shipment at a cold storage business. Members of the Sheriff’s Street Crime Suppression Unit were sent to the scene to investigate. A narcotics K9 was also on scene to assist in the search efforts and a scent of drugs was quickly detected.
