Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government said that as many as 124 lions died during the last two years in and around Gir forest. The point of deaths of lions as well as leopards was raised during the question hour in the Assembly which gave shocking numbers. The most important thing is that none of those deaths was due to poaching.
