Hello and welcome. I'm Kim Bo-gyung with the weather outlook.
We kicked off the week under moderate conditions... but cold air has moved in.
Most parts of the country are under a cold wave watch... while wind chills are making it feel about 7 degrees colder than the actual numbers.
We're also seeing clear skies... and a dry weather watch extends to more regions, including Seoul.
Through tomorrow night,... 5 to 20 millimeters of rain is expected for the mountains of Jeju.
Up to 3 centimeters of snow is also in store there,... with about a centimeter for the western coast of both Jeolla-do provinces.
Expect chilly conditions to stick around... along with a big gap in temps from day to night.
On to the readings. Seoul dips to minus-7 in the morning, before reaching 2 in the afternoon. Daegu and Gwangju 2. Busan 7.
Meanwhile, Daejeon hits 0. Jeju 3. Dokdo peaks at 1. Mt. Kumgang remains colder.
