Such people did not need any Prophet to guide them morally until they became merciless like the eleven crooks wanted to kill Joseph. After they themselves have seen cruelty from the Egyptians and suffered injustice, then Moses redeemed them and sent them to their Promised Land to behave otherwise they will suffer slavery again. That is why Jesus told them that they have to face Moses first for their misbehaviours. In India, this Age devoid of mercy is called “Traetta” meaning three left out of the Four that included the base Shame of one’s tribal family or salt of the earth.
In Jesus, we are to be solitary.
