Admitted, China likes to clone successful products from around the world, let it be a car though. Rising to another level, this can be said as a masterpiece of art and design.
A designer from the People’s Republic of China built a Mercedes-Benz SLK using red bricks, steel and other materials. So worthy of its design, he also pinned seats, gears and the steering wheel for a real experience inside the cabin.
Made to display at the Red Town Creative Park of Shanghai, it seems to have been developed with a purpose to send some message, which happens to be a common trend in China of building replicas to convey a message in their own style.
