Mild winter conditions lasted throughout the day... with daytime highs peaking about 4 degrees higher.
If you didn't know,... today is Gyeongchip,... one of the seasonal indicators that marks the day when animals awake from their winter sleep.
Currently, it's mostly clear skies, but light showers are falling in Jeju.
Air weather advisories have been extended to more regions.... Humidity levels are at a low 19 percent in parts of Gangwon-do Province.
Expect comfortable weather to continue this weekend. But keep in mind the big gap in temperatures between the days and nights. Another cold snap awaits next week.
On to the readings. Seoul and Busan reach a high of 12. Daegu and Gwangju 14.
Meanwhile, Daejeon peaks at 13. Dokdo 6. Mt. Kumgang zero.
