Finally, Bajaj managed to hit the spot of world’s ‘most fuel-efficient’ with Platina. Reportedly, this bike maker of Pune launched the new Platina ES based on a new platform, which claimed magnificent fuel-efficiency of 96.9 kmpl as per ARAI from its DTS-I engine. As per the reports, this is the highest fuel-economy ever attained by a two-wheeler of 100cc in the world.
Apart from the fuel-efficiency, commuter also boasts longest seat in segment. And on the tweaked side, side panels, exhaust, headlamps, set of graphics appears fresh from the factory. Even the electric start is now added to this package worth of Rs 45,431. The Platina buyers had three colour options to choose from: black, blue and red.
