A stockpile comprised of 15 tons of elephant tusks was recently burned in Kenya. On Tuesday, the country's president, Uhuru Kenyatta, lit the pile at Nairobi National Park during a formal occasion to mark World Wildlife Day.

Illegal trade in Ivory has resulted in many animals being killed by poachers and a number of countries are taking creative approaches to address the issue.
