Filmmakers Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap came in support of a book launched to pay homage to one of the greatest filmmakers in Indian cinema - Guru Dutt. The book is a collection of the screenplays of three of the best films that the legendary filmmaker had contributed to, Kaagaz Ke Phool, Chaudhvin Ka Chand and Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam. The gifted filmmakers also sat in a panel discussion to discuss the ban of 28 cuss words by the Censor Board and expressed their anger on this matter. The revised guidelines of the CBFC has caused a major rift amongst the filmmakers and them. Vidhu Vinod Chopra also spoke about how power is being misused and it hampers creativity that the various films have to offer. The 'PK' producer shared insight on two films he has been associated with - 'Parinda' and 'Munnabhai MBBS'. Vidhu Vinod Chopra went on to add how he has learnt some of the best lessons about film business from Guru Dutt, as the latter never looked at Box Office numbers while making his films.
