A loan against property (LAP) is a loan given or provided to the person against the mortgage of property. Like any other loan it is also provided at a certain percentage of the property’s market value which can vary between 40% to 60%. Loan against property is secured type of loan where consumer needs to provide his property papers as a guarantee.
