A 60-year old Chicago man was shoveling snow for his neighbors in the South Side when he was shot in the head and killed.
It happened on Wednesday night around 7:30pm in the Roseland neighborhood.
The man, Bernard Monroe, lived on the block with his aunt Sharon Rolland who said he left the house that day with a shovel in his hand.
He had intended to make a little extra money for the family by clearing out some snow.
Then, a few minutes later someone shot him and they have no idea why.
