The United Nations issued the Two State Solution for Palestine in 1947. The Jewish Agency accepted this plan whilst the Palestinians and the Arab countries rejected it. War was inevitable. Israel prevailed, defended her independence and the freshly founded State of Israel could flourish from 1948 on.
