Ingredients
225gm butter (softened)
150gm dark chocolate
280gm flour
150gm caster sugar
4 large eggs
120gm dark or white chocolate chips
1tbsp coffee powder
½ tsp salt
Method
- preheat oven to 180c/350f
- lightly grease and line approx. 9” square or round baking tin
- melt chocolate and butter in a bowl. Leave it to cool
- stir the eggs into chocolate mixture. Mix well
- sift the flour and caster sugar into separate bowl and mix it
- add flour and sugar mixture into chocolate mixture in a two batches
- add coffee powder and salt in to it
- mix well
- add chocolate chip
- pour the mixture into baking tin, spread it evenly
- bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until firm
- leave to cool for 25-30 minutes
- cut into pieces.
