Miami, Feb 24 (EFE), (Camera: Antoni Belchi).- The Real Madrid Foundation has announced the opening of two soccer academies in Miami to encourage the value of sports in the most underprivileged sectors of the U.S. city.

With this project, 'el club blanco' in collaboration with the International Studies Foundation, is attempting to contribute to the social integration of the Spanish-speaking community in south Florida.

The president of the International Studies Foundation, Maria Diaz de la Cebosa, told Efe that the idea was to help underprivileged children participate in extracurricular activities.

She added that most of these children have difficulty in devoting three hours a week to soccer and this program will help train children between seven and ten years of age.

The project was presented Monday at the Ernest R. Graham Elementary School in Miami to 120 children who will be able to benefit from the program.
