The Gulaab Gang team had a sigh of relief as the Delhi High Court cleared the release of the movie, reportedly based on the life of activist Sampat Pal, who formed the Gulabi Gang, a group of pink sari clad women vigilantes in Uttar Pradesh. The team celebrated by hosting a screening of the movie which was attended by the cast and crew of the movie and their close friends.
