A petition to pardon about 50,000 gay British men, persecuted in the 1950s for their sexual orientation, was delivered by Alan Turing's family to 10 Downing Street. Turing and others were convicted on counts of 'gross indecency'; Turing himself got a posthumous pardon in 2013, but many others have not.
