A grand function of Milad-e-Mustafa (SAW) was organized by Muttahida Quami Movement at Municipal Complex Mirpurkhas.
A statement issued, said that the function was based on recitation of Na’at-e-Muhammad (SAW) and was hugely participated by prominent scholars, religious leaders, Ulema, local political and social organizations, traders and people of all walks of life. The MQM Zonal workers and office-bearers were also present there.
Speaking on the occasion, member of MQM Coordination Committee Abdul Haseeb thanked all the participants of the function on behalf of MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain. He said that the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) preached truth and righteousness, while some so-called religious elements tried to impose their own version of Islam.
Prominent religious scholar Alama Ali Karar Naqvi said that there were very few people who opted to proceed on the righteous way and they would always be remembered in the human history. He said that if the entire Ummah would unite against such blasphemous elements, no one could dare to humiliate religious entities. He also appreciated MQM Chief Altaf Hussain for organizing such an impressive function.
While, Alama Athar Mashhadi said that MQM Chief was the first leader who raised the voice against the sectarianism and extremism in the country but his warning was not taken seriously. He said Allah has descended Islam through His last Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and he preached peace and love for humanity. He said that no authentic social system was prevailing prior to Islam and it gave people the courage to fight against discrimination and humiliations.
The leader of Ahl-e-Sunnat-Wal-Jamaat Mufti Saddiq Saeedi felicitated MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain and his workers for organizing such a distinguish function of Eid-e-Miladdun Nabi and said that Mr. Hussain was the only leader who paid appropriate respect to the religion with his political struggle. He said that Mr. Hussain raised his voice against such a menace of terrorism and appealed them to preach love and peace what Islam taught.
