Varun Dhawan, whose film "Badlapur's" trailer released on 1 December, was spotted at Mithibai College on Wednesday in Mumbai.
The actor came along with music composer Jigar and was seen having a great time at the college fest. Dhawan interacted with students, danced and clicked selfies with them.
He said to the crowd that Mithibai was the first college he came to promote "Main Tera Hero" and "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" .
In the Sriram Raghavan directorial "Badlapur", Dhawan will shed his chocolate-boy image and don a completely different look.
The actor's new rough look in the trailer has been appreciated and it seems that he has got into the skin of the character, Raghu. He is an vengeful avatar and is shown anguished.
Action-thriller "Badlapur" also features Nawazuddin Siddique, Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam and Divya Dutta, Vinay Pathak and Radhika Apte.
The film is set to release worldwide on 20 February next year.
