We know that the Constitution means nothing to Barack Obama. Rules and regulations are merely guidelines, Congressional action is just an exercise and the safety of our people is secondary to the apologies and tolerance for terrorists. Now we find that the budget regulations are documents he does not care to read or follow.
“President Obama will seek to reverse the spending caps created by sequestration in his fiscal 2016 budget, according to a White House official, proposing to spend roughly $74 billion more than the current statutory limits.
Overall, Obama will propose raising spending levels about 7 percent higher than those spelled out in the 2011 Budget Control Act. About half of the increase would go toward Defense spending, while the other half would boost funding for non-Defense federal agencies.”

Fired IT workers have to train their foreign replacements
That’s what’s going on with the IT work force at Southern California Edison, where some 500 American employees are being let go in favor of H-1B visa workers supplied by India.
The unkindest cut of all? The Americans facing termination are being required to train their replacements. In the current economy, who can say no to that and walk out on a last paycheck?
Says a worker interviewed by Computerworld:
“They are bringing in people with a couple of years’ experience to replace us and then we have to train them,” said one longtime IT worker. “It’s demoralizing and in a way I kind of felt betrayed by the company.”

$25 million lawsuit against Regina lawyer
The federal government has filed a $25 million lawsuit against Regina lawyer Tony Merchant's law firm.
A statement of claim filed at Court of Queen's Bench this week alleges the law firm overcharged the government on legal fees and "fabricated" the amount of work it actually did in a 2005 class-action lawsuit.
The suit was filed in 2005 with six provinces and three territories on behalf of former students of Indian residential schools in Canada
Merchant Law Group maintains the lawsuit is just more legal jousting from Ottawa saying it’s "simply a regurgitation of a position they have been putting forward to judges since 2007."
"In an attempt to deflect the new lawsuit, the government has presented all their old arguments in a new legal maneuver which they have launched," the law firm said in a letter obtained by CTV News.
Merchant Law Group is seeking $15 million in alleged damages and payment of unpaid legal fees from the government.
None of the allegations in either lawsuit have been proven in court.
