The government of Nicaragua has been pushing technical education for low-income students and making it possible for them to earn degrees so they can have access to better paying jobs. Between 2012 and 2014 more than 800,000 people graduated from the more than 43 schools throughout the country and in 2015 they are looking to fill 400,000 available spots. teleSUR
