In this edition: the controversial video showing an Israeli journalist walking through Paris; the murder of a young woman sparks outrage in Turkey; and a pussycat with super powers.

VIDEO CAPTURES '10 HOURS OF WALKING IN PARIS AS A JEW'
Inspired by the video posted online by a New York woman last year, in which a hidden camera was used to show what it was like to walk through the Big Apple facing sexist abuse, Israeli journalist Zvika Klein carried out a similar experiment in early February. He wandered the streets of Paris, wearing a kippah, the traditional Jewish skullcap, to see how passers-by reacted. He has since condensed the ten hour experiment into a video that lasts a little over a minute and a half. He appears to be harassed, insulted, and threatened because he is Jewish. The scenes have sparked lively reactions on social networks.
The video has gone viral, racking up around one million views since it was uploaded on Sunday February 15th. Many have slammed what they describe as shocking images, saying they sadly illustrate the growing anti-Jewish sentiment in France. Not everyone wholly agrees however, some suggest that although anti-Semitism is a reality which cannot be ignored, Zvika Klein is conveying a false impression of the actual situation in France.
The person who wrote this article for the Rue89 platform has voiced a similar sentiment, saying Zvika Klein works for the NRG website, which is owned by someone with very close ties to the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The journalist feels the clip could have been produced to scare Jews in France, and prompt them to move to Israel, something the head of the Israeli government has been encouraging for several weeks now.
