Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rabita Committee condemned arrest of MQM election cell committee member Umair Hassan Siddiqui by para-military troops Rangers in Karachi.
The committee claimed that there was no further information about Umair Siddiqui so far.
In a statement issued by the committee that Rangers have arrested Umair Siddiqui from his residence in Azizabad and possessed his mobile, laptop and other items.
Rabitta committee stated that Rangers have not yet provided any detail and the place where he got detained.
MQM Rabitta committee demanded Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat ul Ibad Khan, CM Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah to take notice of Umair Siddiqui’s arrest and provision of full details to their family members and leadership of the political party.
