Rebecca Minkoff went back to the early era of rock'n'roll for a bit of inspiration for the new season.
The New York-based designer found singer Patti Smith's memoir 'Just Kids' particularly good for ideas.
"I was really inspired by her youth, the raw energy she portrays in the book and that she was in New York at a time that you almost can't recreate today. The '70s and rock'n'roll was just beginning so this collection is really an ode to that," she explained before the show Friday
