North Carolina Attorney David Daggett is a founder of the Safe Sober Prom Night Program which is now in their 25th year. The program has reached over 500,000 students with a three fold message. First is awareness. For students they have a message of awareness of the dangers of drugs and alcohol. For parents and the community the message is one of awareness of what our young people are going through and why they turn to drugs and alcohol. Second is to encourage an atmosphere of positive peer pressure. Third is to wrap our collective arms of support around our young people to help them make better choices today for a better future tomorrow.
