Peruvian gov't sends bill that eases massive layoffs

Two weeks after social protests forced the legislative branch of Peru to abrogate a law that reduced youth labor rights, the Peruvian government has sent a bill that would enable companies to carry out massive layoffs if they prove it would be helpful to go through a 3-month period of losses. Trade unions have announced they will hold new demonstrations to prevent the congress from passing the law. teleSUR
