The Historic Commission of the Havana peace talks carried out between the Colombian government and insurgent groups published a report in which it says the United States (US) allocated money and military equipment and personnel for the armed conflict. Human Rights defenders said the US have been the fuel for the war in Colombia and experts said the US intervention in the Colombian armed conflict began in 1960 with the development of a national security doctrine based on the fight against an internal enemy. teleSUR
