Last year, a sinkhole opened up at the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky. Since then, workers have been at the site repairing it.

The museum recently shared footage showing how that work is coming along and it looks like the job is nearing completion.

Zach Massey is leading the project. According to him, the opening was filled with micropiles and supporting beams were also installed as a precaution in the event of a future sinkhole so the floor will be protected.

A cement slab has been poured, but the restoration work isn't done yet. The good thing is that the project is going according to schedule and should be wrapped up in July of this year.

Once its complete, cars will be placed in the viewing area for display and fans can rest assure they won't be falling through the floor again.
