The Hamas government and residents of the Gaza Strip are demanding that Israel keep the Kerem Shalom border crossing open in order to continue the flow of humanitarian aid into the beleaguered Palestinian enclave. The goods will be distributed to needy families. The border crossing remains closed four days a week.
