THE first pictures of Samsung's new Galaxy S6 have reportedly leaked online this week, with many comparing it to the design of Apple's iPhone 6.

Tech site nowhereelse.fr, claims to have the first pictures of the new Samsung Galaxy S6, which show the metallic frame that will feature on the Korean firm's flagship phone.

It appears to show a striking resemblance to Apple's iPhone 6 and will mean the S6 will have a curved edge, along with a speaker and headphone port positioned on the base of the device.

It follows the news that Samsung look set to reveal the S6 alongside a new device in March.

Sources this week claim Samsung will release a curved smartphone called the S Edge alongside the Galaxy S6.

The S Edge design will be similar to the curved Note Edge.

Reports claim that both phones will launch in less than a month, while new details on the cost of both handsets have allegedly been leaked this week.

Price plans for the Galaxy S6 will start at around £570 for the 32GB model, with the 128GB version rising to over £700.

The S Edge is set to be the pricier of the two phones, with website Androidpit reporting prices will start at £650, rising to over £800 for the 128GB model.

Samsung won't be revealing any details on their planned handset releases until the March 1 launch date during the Mobile World Congress.
