The incident occurred on the morning of February 6th. The fire department responded to the Rapid City Regional Airport after receiving a report about an aircraft accident.
Upon arrival, fire officials learned the plane's electrical system failed during a flight from Wyoming to Wisconsin. Because of the issue, the computers shut down and there was no way to access the landing gear.
The only two people onboard the plan
