(www.infineon.com/brushless-dc-motor ) This video highlights the applications of a Brushless DC Motor with help of a demonstrator. BLDC motor is used in 48V and 24V auxiliary motor drives like cooling fans, electric turbo, and climate compressor. At 48V supply, basic motion control software and ASIL features are implemented. BLDC can be used in 24V applications as they have almost same power requirements and with slight adaption in the MOSFET, it can also be used in 12V MOSFETs.
