Official Quakewiki Video - Quake - Aftershock for Quake - E1M3 - Dagger (Deathmatch)

One of the more useless videos of this series, this simply shows off E1M3 with the three changes to Deathmatch. No Bars exist because it was normally triggered by the death of two Ogres, meaning it would be impossible if it still remained as such in Deathmatch. There isn't a Gold Door, but there is a Gold Key for some odd reason. Also, the Movable Wall hiding the 100 Health no longer exists (probably because a player that spawned in there would basically get trapped). Beyond these changes, there is nothing different. We even have Rockets placed in the map, which is virtually useless due to there being no explosive based weaponry here.

The starting room is impossible to return to in the Singleplayer game after dropping off the wooden platform. That remains true here, meaning I have to kill myself a bunch to show it off. Also, as that is the only location of the Nailgun, that basically means most players will only have access to a Thunderbolt. I also show off what would happen to a player with no 100 Health in the alcove with them (they would have to lose 20 of their Health in Lava).

I also get a little bad luck (seems that is basically every video lately) which results in me not getting to the top platform as easily as I did in the Singleplayer edition. I am starting to believe it is certain rungs, perhaps just that one I ended up succeeding on in particular.

Compared to the last level, this one is quite horrible in terms of conversion from Singleplayer to Deathmatch. Not a level I would recommend fighting someone on, mainly due to the linear nature of the level working against the players here and the limited amount of weaponry.
