Four individuals in Missouri have been accused of staging a kidnapping to teach a young child a lesson about strangers. According to sheriff's deputies, a man identified as Nathan Firoved, lured the 6-year-old boy into his vehicle on Monday as he was heading home from school.
After the child got into the truck, the suspect told him he would not see his mother again and warned the boy that he would be nailed to a shed's wall. When he began crying, Firoved brandished a gun and threatened to hurt him.
The man tied the child's feet and hands and covered his face inside the truck. The victim was later taken blindfolded to the basement of his house, where his aunt removed his pants and informed him that he may be sold into "sex slavery".
He was left in the basement for a period of time before his family removed the restraints and spoke to him about stranger danger.
