Two police officers in Fort Worth, Texas recently rescued a stray dog. On Wednesday, the department shared dashcam footage from the January 27th incident, when Officers Paul Garcia and Allen Speed witnessed the small pooch wandering along an interstate.

The cops immediately stopped and installed a makeshift road block before approaching the canine. Officer Speed then kneeled down with a treat in his hand and attempted to lure the dog towards him.

The female pooch seemed to be hesitant to get close to the officers so she continued aimlessly running through the highway lanes. Again the officer tried using the treat to catch her and at one point she sat in the middle of the interstate and allowed him to get pretty close before bolti
