A woman in Birmingham, UK was dragged approximately 30 feet after a car thief got behind the wheel of her vehicle and took off. Just before the incident, the victim, 30-year-old Nikki Law-Priddey had parked her Mini Cooper in her driveway.
She walked off for a moment and left the car running and the driver's side door wide open. During that short period of time, a man wearing a baseball hat moved down the sidewalk, saw the open door and ran right to the car.
He got behind the wheel, but Priddey responded quickly and bolted to the car. She grabbed the handle and successfully opened the door before attempting to jump inside.
The two seemed to struggle and Priddey ended up falling on the ground. She was still holding onto the vehicle as the thief drove off. Her body was dragged out of the driveway and into the middle of the road.
