The dog named Kai that was intentionally left at a train station in Scotland has landed a forever home. A man named Ian Russell is his new owner.
Russell commented, "It means a lot to me, I just lost my other dog before Christmas, and to get another dog at this moment in time is overwhelming. He's a beautiful dog and I'm very lucky."
Kai's 52-year-old owner is one out of hundreds of people who offered to adopt Kai and give him a loving home. Russell believes fate led to him being chosen.
His previous dog was a Dalmatian and according to Russell, the two spent every hour of every day together. After learning about Kai's story, he decided to contact the Scottish SPCA, but was fairly confident employees wouldn't pick him out of the vast number of interested parties.
