Muttahida Qaumi Movement staged a walkout from the Senate. MQM members alleged that plain-clothed personnel are still apprehending people in Karachi.
MQM senator, Babar Ghouri & Nasreen Jalil lamented that banned outfits openly hold demonstration in Karachi, yet there is no one to keep a check on such organizations.
He said that the prime minister had promised that plain-clothed personnel will no longer arrest anyone, yet still these personnel are apprehending the people and acting as ‘death squads’.
In her exclusive word with ARY News, MQM senator Nasreen Jalil demanded the Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif to seek an explanation from the IG Sindh over these arrests.
