In a major review of the country's GDP assessment, the government has changed its base year for calculating GDP to 2011-2012. Due to this change in calculation, the GDP for the year 2013-2014 has been revised upwards to 6.6% from the earlier 4.7% ET NOW caught up with the Chief Statistician of India TCA Anant on what it means for the government's numbers game.
