Most dogs have a penchant for chewing things and oftentimes those things are shoes. On Friday, a 4-year-old mixed breed pooch named Vince found a pair of women's calf high leather boots and decided to make a meal out of them.
Vince, however, ended up in serious trouble as he consumed so much leather and boot material that he needed surgery. Prior to the procedure, his owners took him to Philadelphia's Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center, where x-rays showed how much the dog had swallowed.
A specialist in critical care and emergency medicine at the facility stated, "These X-rays are absolutely remarkable, especially given that you can see and count the number of eyelets on the boots. The sheer volume of what he ate is impre
