A new study suggests that that our television viewing habits may be reflective of our mental health.

One behavior in particular, binge-watching, which is characterized by watching three or more episodes at a time, seems to be more prevalent in those with feelings of depression and loneliness.

This finding was part of a study conducted by researchers from the University of Texas at Austin.

In the study, 316 people between the ages of 18 and 29 were asked about their TV viewing habits as well as their overall psychological states.
