Latest Camera Rumors and Other Important Features and Specifications

Whether it is the company’s policy to keep customers hyped up about the new handset or something else, some new information comes up on the surface every now and then. The latest rumor regarding the Galaxy S6 is linked to the camera of the handset.

The Powerful Camera

It seems like Samsung is determined to break up the collaboration with Sony. For previous Samsung’s devices, Sony was the main supplier. For the Galaxy S6, however, Samsung intends to use its own Samsung Electro Mechanics as the main supplier. Samsung’s own production will further increase the profit, and the company has already started using its own chipset.

The camera in the Galaxy S6 is expected to be a powerful 20-MP sensor, with optical image stabilization. While Samsung has previously added optical image stabilization to its camera sensors, as seen in the Note 4, the company has yet to produce a 20-MP shooter with OIS. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 looks to be nothing short of sensation, if other rumors are true.

The Other Specs

Regarding the specs and features of the Galaxy S6, we know so far that the device is sure to boast a QHD display. The size of the display is still up for grabs, with rumors suggesting anything between 5.1 inches and 5.5 inches.

What is certain, on the other hand, is the design of the handset, which is bound to feature more aluminum elements, giving the Galaxy S line the premium feel it badly needed in the past.

For the processor, Samsung has two options. One is to use the Snapdragon 810, a powerful 64-bit chipset, octa core processor. However, there are rumors that Samsung might choose to go another way, and use its own Exynos chipset. After all, almost every flagship in 2015 is expected to use the Snapdragon 810, and Samsung wants to be different.
