In this week's program, host Mauricio Izquierdo, returns to the theme of Latin fashion design. First we go to La Paz, where the "Cholitas", as indigenous women are known, are taking their typical clothing styles to the high road of fashion, with small scale boutiques offering higher-end creations. There's even a fashion magazine, Warmi, aimed at Cholitas. Then it's off to Ecuador, for a visit with talented local designer Anabel Lopez, who promotes local identity through fashion, breaking with the dependence on foreign styles. teleSUR
